Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy
PRP therapy begins with a simple blood draw, from which we isolate and concentrate your platelets—cells rich in growth factors that kick-start the body’s natural healing cascade. After a brief centrifugation process, the platelet-rich fraction is injected directly into the injured or degenerative site (e.g., tendon, ligament, joint, or muscle). These growth factors recruit stem cells, stimulate new blood vessel formation, and accelerate tissue regeneration. PRP is particularly effective for chronic tendon injuries (like tennis elbow or Achilles tendinopathy), early osteoarthritis, ligament sprains, and muscle strains. Most patients experience minimal downtime—typically mild soreness for 24–48 hours—and notice gradual improvement over 4–8 weeks as the healing process unfolds.
